Sydney news: Pfizer plane touches down; XPT services cancelled

A plane carrying the first delivery of the 1 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine has landed at Sydney International Airport overnight.

The doses, sent from Poland via Dubai, will be prioritised into people aged 20- to 29-years-old in the worst-affected areas of south-west and western Sydney.

More than half of the doses will be allocated to Sydney, with the remaining sent to other states on a per capita basis.
